Thomas Back and Body

"Thomas Back and Body is a health and wellness clinic offering chiropractic. We understand the unique needs that each patient brings and will always tailor chiropractic treatments to help patients achieve their best health. Some of the methods we use include spinal adjusting/joint mobilization, instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, myofascial release, cupping and exercise therapy. Dr. Josh Thomas

Dr. Thomas graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo. He is a passionate educator and believes in a holistic approach to healthcare. His treatments emphasize education, rehabilitation, manual therapy, and providing patients with the right tools so that they can continue to improve their health outside of appointments.

Dr. Joseph Kawun

Dr. Joseph Kawun graduated from the University of Guelph Humber with an Honours Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Kinesiology as well as a diploma in Fitness & Health Promotion in 2015. He then went on to receive his chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in the Spring of 2021. He was fortunate to have completed several sports therapy internships while in university and worked for two years as a Licensed Kinesiologist. Dr. Kawun understands the importance of exercise to maintain muscle strength, flexibility and injury prevention. He offers a variety of treatment options including diversified manual therapy, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation, and education. Dr Kawun is a firm believer in preventive health care and in maintaining a good level of fitness and mobility and looks forward to working patients to provide best-in-class chiropractic services. When not working, Dr. Kawun can be found playing hockey, cycling, or hiking the trails year-round with his wife and their dog Echo

Dr. Mital Panchal

Dr. Panchal is a graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree. She has been well trained to provide treatment using diversified manual therapy, soft tissue therapy, education, rehabilitation, proprioceptive and balance training, and much more. Dr. Panchal strives to provide her patients with personalized evidence-based treatments to improve movement, relieve pain and discomfort, and prevent future injuries. Having proficiency in speaking and understanding Gujarati and Hindi, Dr. Panchal can ensure effective communication and understanding with patients from various cultural backgrounds.

Outside of work, Dr. Panchal enjoys spending time with her pet bunny, Laya, taking care of her indoor plant sanctuary, and spending time with her family.

Rachel Botelho

Rachel Botelho is a driven and professional young woman who has several years of experience as a receptionist. She is enthusiastic and always ready willing and able to assist you. Outside of the clinic she enjoys being creative and crafty.
